Hiya!

I know, I know but I have a perfectly good excuse. I'm planning a wedding and remodeling a house, which is going pretty well I might add...well apart from this one item being continuously delayed. 😤

So far we have completed the dining room, the master bedroom, the counter tops have gone down and cabinets are being installed as we speak. Currently awaiting the arrival of our backsplash and one item to round out the main living area and the kitchen nook. If everything goes according to plan that would complete phase one, which is on schedule (cross fingers our table doesn't get delayed again) to come to an end next week. So yaay! Say a prayer. 😄

On some let me pat myself on the back cause all I'm hearing is negativity 😁. I have been very good at keeping you guys apprised of my progress through my IG stories, so yea, I'll take that win.🏆

Switching gears for a sec. I know this is a design post but I'd be remissed if I didn't update you guys on my wedding dress situation. To put it blatantly " I 4ucked up." I waited too long, I should have started shopping for my dress 8-9 before my wedding according to the bridal shops I've visited. You see, I was thinking because I knew exactly what I wanted it'll be a breeze. I'd walk in and walk out just as easily. Turns out "exactly what I wanted" would take 7 months to arrive if they ordered it today. So, I wouldn't get it until December 😳. Well, the wedding is in September so that's a minor problem. 😄

Yea, I'm laughing because what else am I gonna do 🤷🏾‍♀️ ? Can't stress the small stuff. Can't stress anything period. Life is too short. Comforting confirmation though, exactly what I wanted was exactly what I wanted. It was gawgeous! 💕

Some good news now. I got my 2nd dress. So if anything, the second dress now becomes the first dress....ayeeee promotion, lol. 🙌🏾 Congratulations second dress. 🎊

Lol, in all seriousness I'm still optimistic. I'm a Sagittarius. 💁🏾‍♀️

Hopefully, NYC will be good to me. I'm all set to visit Wona Concept in the big apple #newyorkforonenight and I have high hopes. 😊
