Alright, alright, alright, alright, alright, heeeey ya...lol. A lil Outkast to start this blog off right, lol.

Sooooo, what's happening, guys? It's reno hell over here, but guess what? I'm loving it! ❤️

The plan was to design something for the opening between our sitting room and living room, and somehow, that has turned into a full first-floor remodel. 🤯

Ok, so what had happened was... Side note: Why does this sentence always end up in a story of events that should have never taken place? 😂

Anyway, the shelf I designed turned out beautiful, almost too beautiful, lol, and by that, I mean it made everything else around it look horrible (I’m definitely exaggerating, but still, lol). So, that just means everything is getting an upgrade. We're talking new floors, new half bath, kitchen remodel and of course new furniture. Whew. 😮‍💨

So far the shelf is gorgeous, the checkered floors in the front room are complete, the kitchen cabinets and hood vent turned out perfect, the flooring for the living room and kitchen arrived, Install of the half bath has started and furniture has been ordered but of course it's backordered, lol.

On top of this, since I clearly don’t have enough going on, we're headed to Cali this week because, yes, I am a basketball mom, and AAU season has begun. So yaay, me! 😆 🙌🏾

I'll be tired as all get out from running around Cali with the basketball team this weekend, but guess what? I get to come home and deal with this remodel, yaaay me....again, lol! Maybe I'll get to squeeze in a hike while I'm in LA, you know, just a lil something for mama.
