Details Details Details

Ok, now that all the vendors are booked and contracts are signed…whew, thank the gawds, lol. We've now come to the fun stage of wedding planning. This is the stage where I flourish, the stage where you get to tinker with cosmetic details. This week, that's cakes and table scapes for me. I know y'all can't see my excitement but trust me I'm as giddy as 4yr in a candy store. 😄

So, the vibe for our wedding is countryside elegance. Cute, right? I came up with it, lol. Anyway, I wanted our cake to be the embodiment of that theme. So I pulled this for my vendor as inspiration. What do you think?

Beautiful, right?

Moving right along. Who would I be if I didn't design my own table, lol? Everything from the kinds of glasses that are used to the placement of each candle will be overseen by me.

My planner has sent over an array of plates, chargers, silverware, glasses and napkins in different styles and colors. I've created three mood boards detailing which of the items I'd like to see combined. My planner will then send those over to our supplier who will then set up the tables using my mood board. After that's all done I'll choose my final table scape.

I've also narrowed down the flower arrangement colors and selectively picked the fabric of the table cloth, which I'll be using two kinds.

This is the fun stuff y'all. We're six months away and so far so good but as I've said before, let's not jinx anything. 😉

Till next time. Later readers. 😊
