My life has been a complete shit-show! Hahahahaha! Wait, can a shit-show also be good? Well, it's been a good-busy, lol. Last we talked, I think we were going to Cali for my son's AAU tournament. He's had eight games since then, the most recent one in Las Vegas. The season has come to an end. The last game was on the 5th of August in Washington (fml), just kidding! 😂

So, even though his schedule is winding down, mine is about to get turned up. Not to worry, Mama has a few self care vacations lined up (cause that's what I'm calling them), lol. But first, work. Maybe not in that order, lol, but I do have a design trip coming up. I'll be headed to Texas to design a home. For now, that's the plan, design only (insert air quotations).

That means I'll source items and style, but who knows what's gonna take place once I land. I might be adding molding and trim details, etc. You never know. What I do know is that I always tend to go above and beyond what the client expects. It's a rental, so the client doesn't want to put too much into it, but she does want to make it homey, which is my specialty. 😉

Oooooh, a quick update on my very own reno. I decided on a countertop and backsplash, appliances were delivered, and floors are down. I've styled my "lounge room" (that's the name I've given it ☺️) with the items that have been delivered, I'm still waiting on my bar cart to arrive, and this room will be finished. I absolutely love how it came together. ❤️

Oh, how can I forget! We got a new puppy! His name is Twelve, and he is pure joy! 🐶
