Hi guys! It has been one helluva week! I can honestly say I'm getting a bit anxious now, lol. I looked at my calendar for something non wedding related and realized we're approximately 10 months out from the wedding and 7 months out from the engagement party! 😬

I feel like there's so much to be done and if this year is any indication of the way time will continue to move going forward, honey, we're out of time. 😄

I am somewhat relieved we've checked a lot of biggies off our to-do-list. This past weekend we took our engagement photos in Chicago and it was a beautiful, emotional, surreal moment...moments, I should say. There were five different locations and one involved a bridge in on coming traffic in 40° weather. Did I mention my dress for that shoot was backless, lol! 🥶

Nevertheless, everything was beautifully effortless. Our photographers were so bomb and to say they understood the assignment is an understament! 🙌🏾

So, I mentioned a while back that we hired a wedding planner for the ceremony in Italy and that I would be taking on the engagement party myself. Boy, what was I thinking? Lol! I can confidently say most of the major things are taken care of. That's not what worries me tho. It's the smaller things that concern me because I can be very meticulous and lets be real, we all know the smallest of things when added up can turn into something huge. So that's where I'm at right now. Trying to get a handle on all the small things, so as to not get overwhelmed as time inches closer.

There is a silver lining. It's not all stress. My sweets planned a lovely getaway so I could recharge. And recharge I will. 🥰

My only assignment for the upcoming week is to rest. Which means no wedding talk or project talk. I think I can manage that. 😌
