Never have I ever thought I'd be that girl sashaying around displaying I was a bride to be. Like, for real, never, lol. 😄

R Design Bride collection was created simply by chance. That sounds crazy right? Because if you've been following this blog for some time you've probably gathered everything I do is intentional and precise to the "T" lol. I'm a Sagittarius I can't help it. It's who I am, lol.

So why chance? Simply put, if I wasn't made a bride I wouldn't have been looking for bride merch. 😄

I'm very particular about my clothing and during my search for bride gear I found it to be very lack luster. Sure, I found shirts which read Bride To Be… Future Mrs…I Said Yes… and so on and so on. The vibe was there but the quality was not.

Left with less than desirable options, I took a page from my own interior design hand book of do's. Talking to myself, I asked myself what do I do when I can't find an item I need for a project? If you follow me on my media platforms you know the answer to that is "I create my own" and that ladies and gentlemen is the tale of how R Design Company welcomed merchandise under its umbrella.

It was eventually going to happen, I just thought it would have been a piece of furniture or accessory first, lol but we're here now and I love every piece I created. Our tees are sooooo soft with a simple yet elegant embroidered "bride" motif, the hats are so chic and my crew neck is like butter!

I spent looong days and nights going through all kinds of fabrics. I wanted to create something you would still be in love with long after the bridal planning process. Full transparency, to give you a an idea of how dedicated and passionate I was about the above statement. I had committed to materials and signed off on production. Merchandise had been made and half way through, I wasn’t totally in love after I had been product testing for about a month. I halted production, scrapped the batches that had been made and went back to the drawing board. I refused to put out something I myself wasn’t totally in love with. In turn that thew our launch timeline in the shitter, lol ( we were set to launch in the beginning of May 2022) but in the end I trusted my gut and as a result we've crafted is perfection.

Y'all, I'm so proud of this collection and I can't wait for you guys to see it, feel it, just for you to understand I'm not tooting my own horn, it's really that dope! It’ll make for the perfect gift for any bride to be! 💍

You guys know I live for my sweat pants, crew necks and tee's, so when y'all see me out in my gear walking through the airport or at every bridal appt. weather it be a food tasting, picking flower arrangements or decor mind ya business, lol! Or better yet, don't. Ask me where I got it and I'll tell you where to get it! ☺️
