Ahhhh. 🧖🏾‍♀️

Nothing much to report here this week. I'm still here, still running like a chicken whose head been cut off and still progressing. 😊

I did take a much needed girls trip this past weekend to Tampa and it was everything I needed it to be. We laughed,  drank, ate, danced and lets not forget lounged to our hearts content. ☺

If you haven't been to Tampa recently you probably don't know the new 5 🌟 JW Marriott just opened. It's lux and gives off serious resort vibes. You kinda forget you're at a hotel in the middle of downtown. The rooftop where the pool is located also houses the bar and a lovely courtyard area where guests can relax. Fitted with multuple cabanas and other social seating options, its the spot to be! Another perk I shouldn't fail to mention is you also have access to Tampa Marriott amenities right across the way. No need to step outside to retrieve these benefits, simply take the sky bridge connecting the two hotels. I promise you the pool at the Tampa Marriott is worth the trek. 😉

We fulfilled our adventure side with a need for speed. I rented a slingshot for my sister who thinks it's still her birthday but her birthday been over 🥴(don't tell her) being that it was in August, lol. Anyway 3 Wheel Rentals Tampa provided the perfect gift for her. She loves nothing more than having the wind blow through her hair. We drove 45mins to Clearwater Beach ⛱ and made it a beach day. Everything was perfect....even the rain we got caught in on the drive back. 😄

Lastly I cannot conclude this blog post without mentioning the fabulous breakfast I had at Brunchery Restaurant. OMG guys! Everything was good. I had the Lox omelette which came with the best home fries I've ever had and I couldn't resist the Waffle a la Brunchery so I got that too 😄...and yes before you ask it is a meal within itself but so what, lol. It was delightful, I'm glad I did it. You should too if you're ever in Tampa. I always find that the best food comes from these type of hidden gems. I just love mom and pop establishments. We even got a show! Shout out to Greg (the owner) who came through with the comedic entertainment!
